With a 2023 release window set for Starfield, Bethesda has finally released a first look at the highly anticipated titles gameplay. Last but not least, Xbox Consoles, Cloud, and PC players will have the opportunity to play the game since Day One using an Xbox Game Pass subscription. For me, Starfield was always the main focus, as I am excited to delve into this genre and finally strengthen my character how I want to. There will be over 1000 planets available to explore, putting the cherry at the top of the cake. Players will be able to build outposts and spaceships that will help them reach and explore space on demand, with complete control over the layout itself. The video also showcased advanced character customization, which will be enriched with skill trees that allow players to distinguish from each other’s gameplay. What’s out there? This question will drive players to dive deep into further exploration, as they will have to solve the artifact puzzle, possibly leading to an end-game encounter. This will take us to the New Atlantis, also known as the capital, humankind’s settlement. That’s where the engagement occurred.Īfter those encounters, players will be invited to join the Constellation, where the last combatants and space explorers of our kind endure. Later in the trailer, we have the opportunity to meet some of the factions in the game, such as the pirates, who are using the facility explored within. This is exactly what Bethesda depicted during their segment, or better said, ended with a boom in the closing fraction of the broadcast.Īs per the trailer, we have seen unique mobs since our first visit to the planet, and that’s just the beginning. The mysterious moon of Krete is awaiting starters to begin their journey and set a foothold on new and unexplored territory. Starfield Bethesda’s upcoming and possibly the most anticipated and ambitious interstellar game. In an interview with The Telegraph, Howard confirmed that Starfield won’t be like Star Wars or Star Trek “It’s kind of its own thing.” That includes a unique “NASA-Punk” aesthetic and “more hardcore RPG” elements than even Bethesda’s previous games. The XboxBethesda Games Showcase 2022 has been quite exciting so far, but as always, we’ve reached the end where the most compelling portion is being revealed. Bethesda did show a small trailer for Starfield at E3 2018 when Bethesda Director and Executive Producer Todd Howard announced the game. In an interview with The Washington Post, Howard confirmed that Starfield will feel like “Skyrim in space,” but it’ll also answer some deep philosophical questions like “are we alone?” and “what are the origins of space and time?” Most of what we know about Starfield comes from that E3 trailer and a few interviews that Howard did after the fact. It sort of makes the Skyrim comparisons that Todd Howard has been throwing around seem less aspirational and more expectation. Keep in mind, those numbers aren’t counting the 2.3 million people who watched the joint Xbox/Bethesda livestream.Ī lot of publishers use trailer views as an indicator of interest, and as Starfield closes in on 10 million views, Bethesda must be thinking they have a potential blockbuster on their hands. That said, a helpful Reddit post has been keeping track and it confirmed the trailer achieved 7.4 million views less than a week after its initial reveal at E3. Currently, Starfield’s Official Teaser Trailer is sitting at 9.2 million views on Bethesda’s YouTube account (the Xbox trailer is just over 4.6 million views). People must be really into Starfield, at least according to the YouTube view count.
